MBA International Logistics and Trade

Trade and logistics are among the largest economic sectors worldwide. The part-time MBA International Logistics and Trade prepares you in an optimally way for these challenges. It is international in its alignment, it sits at the interface between trade and logistics, it is in English and can be studied worldwide. Via the myWINGS online campus and the study app, for the first time, professionals from Europe, Asia, South Africa and Latin America, for example, can study together in a study group.

Via our Study Appyou always have your studies with you - interactive video lectures and audio films can be accessed online and offline around the clock. This lets you flexible study at any time of day, independent of location and internet. And: If you would like to repeat something, just take a look at the corresponding lecture part again. The study app is developed according to the latest technical standards and individually tailored to the online study MBA International Logistics & Trade. It forms the basis of your entire studies. You can use the app to book your online modules, download module documents as e-books and e-scripts and find out about events and schedules. Despite didactically well prepared online modules you will have questions and want to discuss them with fellow students or your lecturer. For this we offer at fixed dates live tutorials as video conferences which are led by the respective lecturer. These will be dedicated to specific chapters or topics of the online module according to your schedule. In addition, the dates are used to discuss your case studies. They are recorded and are also available to you as podcasts around the clock.

 

Asynchronous online study using an online module with chapter-by-chapter test questions and other interactive elements

  • Accompaniment of the module by synchronous live video tutorials with a trained tutor (contact instruction)
  • Self-study using a didactically prepared learning document and the asynchronous online module with examples / case studies

 

The online study MBA International Logistics & Trade allows you an above-average high degree of flexibility. But it also places special demands on your self-organisation. All appointments, attendance seminars, exams and online tutorials are part of your schedule, which is available in your calendar via app at any time. Each module ends with an examination. Most of these are written examinations. Alternatively, homework, presentations or project work may be included. Don’t worry: We will prepare you comprehensively for your examinations with interactive video lectures, test assignments, practice examinations and live tutorials. 

Good to know: Maximum flexibility guaranteed. You can decide what suits you best: Sit your exams conveniently online - you will be accompanied and supervised by our WINGS examination team. Do you prefer to interact with your fellow students before and after exams? Then why not sit your examination together with your fellow students at one of our 16 examination locations in Germany and Austria.

You feel you’ve got to grips with the material, or should you perhaps watch the lecture again? Review your learning progress with questionnaires and tests – tried-and-tested by our students and found to be highly effective.

A place for your study documents: With the Campus cloud, you have the opportunity to store your personal documents and share them with others.

Admission requirements

We welcome applications from students of all nationalities. Given its specific character the programme is addressed to employees and interested parties of the international economy and logistics. 

To be admitted to the part-time MBA programme International Logistics & Trade, you must meet the following conditions:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the study field of economics
  • At least two years of related professional experience
  • Proof of sufficient knowledge of English (Level C1)*

  
Good to know: 

Graduates with 180 ETCS credits: need 30 more credits. How to get these: 

  • proof of an additional 20 weeks of related professional experience or additional modules

All documents need to be written in English or German.

Our distance learning course is designed to meet the needs of professionals. So you can complete the distance learning course alongside your job and maintain your financial leeway. The state supports your further education through individual tax relief. Depending on your personal income and your professional situation, you may be able to deduct the costs of your distance learning as tax-deductible income-related expenses or special expenses and thus be partially reimbursed for them. Please contact your tax advisor or your responsible tax office for sound advice.

Many companies support the further training of their employees by giving them leave of absence or financial support. Within the framework of individual agreements, there is the possibility of integrating your qualification goal into the personnel development concept. Furthermore, for members of the Bundeswehr, funding by the BFD is possible.
